 It is hard to believe we are already into Fall. We have had a successful start to the school year. Students are being more responsible by getting assignments turned in and keeping up with their grades to ensure they are passing. Grades, discipline, and attendance are being checked weekly to ensure students are staying on track. If a student chooses not to keep up with school work, then they will not be allowed to miss class time to participate in extracurricular activities.

            As you know, the flu season is upon us. We have had numerous students out already due to illness. It is important to remember if your child is out to send a doctor’s note or call the school to let us know the reason your child is absent so we can excuse the absence(s). If the absence will be for absent for multiple days, you may call and request make-up work. We just ask that you give us plenty of advanced notice so we can gather the work. Also, please remember the students are missing instructional time and will need to set up tutorial time with the teacher to learn the material missed. As soon as your child is released, please ensure they are in attendance every day so we can get them back on track. I hope everyone takes some time to relax and enjoy the lovely fall weather. The holidays will soon be upon us.
