Elementary Assistant Principal's Note

Summer is coming to a close and the school year is upon us.  The construction crews are getting smaller as the jobs are being finished.   Big sandy ISD will open their new doors soon and welcome all of the smiling faces of our eager students.  I am so excited about the start of school.  Usually it is the smell of new crayons, having new clothes, and having new classes.  This year, we have the smell of new paint, new classrooms, and new offices.  We welcome everyone to come and tour our new additions on august 19^th for meet the teacher night and see how beautiful they have become.   Big sandy elementary is so excited to begin this new school year as a recognized campus!  Our teachers and students have worked extremely hard to attain our high rating and we are already planning for an even better 2010-2011 school year.  So, lace up those new shoes and get ready for another great year at big sandy ISD!
